Supported by the central office, the senior managers have full responsibility of Revenue, Service, Customer Experience and People Management & Development.

Our development programmes focus on a blended approach with on the job, structured learning and a strong mentoring ethos to ensure the delegates have the skills, knowledge and attitude required for the future.
Our development plans:
Pinnacle – This programme focuses on the continuous development of our General Managers. It allows them to network with peers and stay up to date on current best practices and trends within the business community.
Altitude – This 12 month management development programme is aimed at our future general managers, to ensure they have the knowledge and skills to take the next step on their career ladder.
Elevate – This programme supports our heads of departments & assistant managers in gaining experience and knowledge to take the next step on the ladder. It is run in partnership with Leap and focuses on team management with exposure to specialist functions, such as Sales, Purchasing & HR.
Ascend – Our 18 month fast tracked programme gives newly graduated students an opportunity to work and learn about each of our departments, including Sales, HR and Operations, giving them the skills to be ready for a management position.
Platform – This programme allows the learner to work in the hotel as well as attend third level education on a block release basis. It is an excellent way of giving operational employees the opportunity to gain theoretical learning to support their on the job training.
Specialist Development Programmes:
Leisure Centre Manager Development Programme
This programme is focusing on upskilling and refreshing the Leisure Centre Managers on team management and areas that support their function.
Sales Development Programme
This one year blended learning programme focuses on developing our Sales Executives through mentoring, on the job training and workshops.
Revenue Management Development Programme
This already successful development programme ensures we have a strong succession of Revenue Managers. This a workshop based programme focuses on employees in our Reservations or Front Office teams that want to develop into the Revenue department.
Head Chef Development Programme
Succession and retention of our senior chefs is a critical element of our plan and from this we have designed a 6 month programme which focuses on team management, food trends and menu design.
