Q2 2024
Maldron Hotel Shoreditch, London

This new Maldron hotel will be a 4-star property located in the heart of Shoreditch, immediately to the north of the City of London. Shoreditch has become a popular and fashionable part of London. The hotel is superbly located 500 metres from Old Street Underground Station and 800 metres from Liverpool Street Underground Station. Dalata acquired the fantastic site on Paul Street for £32.05 million with planning approval for a new hotel. The total cost of developing the hotel, including the acquisition of the site, will be approximately £60 million. The new Maldron hotel will have 157 rooms, restaurant and bar facilities. Construction of the hotel commenced in August 2021 with the hotel projected to open in Q2 2024.

Maldron Hotel Brighton

This new 221-bedroom new hotel will be close to the waterfront in the city of Brighton. The Brighton Conference Centre, Brighton pier and the mainline train station are all located within walking distance. The 4-star property will include a bar, restaurant, gym and six meeting rooms. Dalata will operate the hotel on a 35-year Operating Lease. Construction of the hotel commenced at the start of 2022 with the hotel expected to open in Q2 2024.

Maldron Hotel Cathedral Quarter Manchester

This new 4-star Maldron hotel will be will be ideally located close to Victoria train station, the Manchester Arena, the Spinningfields Commercial district and the retail core of the city. The hotel will have over 180 bedrooms, a bar, restaurant and coffee dock. Dalata will operate the hotel on a 35-year Operating Lease. Planning permission has been approved for this development with the hotel expected to open in Q2 2024.

Maldron Hotel Liverpool City

This new 4-star Maldron hotel will be adjacent to the award winning Liverpool One retail and leisure complex and within walking distance of all the city centre attractions. The hotel will be of part of a mixed-use scheme being jointly developed by the Elliot Group and Valorem. The hotel will comprise approximately 260 rooms, a restaurant, a bar and meeting room facilities. Dalata will operate the hotel on a 35-year Operating Lease. Planning permission has been approved for this development with the hotel expected to open in Q2 2024.
H1 2026
Maldron Hotel Croke Park, Dublin

This new Maldron hotel will be a 4-star property located adjacent to Croke Park Stadium in central Dublin. The hotel, which will be located on the junction of Clonliffe Road and Jones's Road will also enjoy excellent connectivity to the air, road and rail network, with Drumcondra Train station and Aircoach stop a 7-minute walk from the hotel. The hotel will also benefit from its proximity to Dublin's city centre, the IFSC and exciting new developments such as the Technological University campus at Grangegorman. The hotel will have approximately 200 bedrooms, a business centre with 6 meeting rooms, together with bar and restaurant facilities. Dalata will operate the hotel on a 35-year Operating Lease. Planning permission has been approved for this development with the hotel expected to open in H1 2026.

Extension at Clayton Hotel Cardiff Lane, Dublin

Dalata are adding an extension to its existing hotel at Clayton Hotel Cardiff Lane. This 4 star property is located in Dublin’s docklands, in the heart of the city. The area has a strong presence of multinational technology firms and is within close proximity to Dublin city centre shopping and the iconic Dublin attractions. The additional 93 new bedrooms will complement the new Meeting and Events centre which was completed in November 2020. The extension is at the pre-construction phase with planning permission secured. The opening date for this project is currently under review.
